A label rewinders is convenient and saves time. The CAT-3-Standard with a Fin-Style Core Holder winds up labels into a roll as they come out of a printer. If you don’t use a rewinder, you have to gather up the labels by hand once the printing job is finished.

Labelmate UCAT-40 Powered Unwinder
Powered Label Unwinders enable you to externally maintain and feed large rolls into a printer or other device. A sensor arm starts and stops the Unwinder as dictated by the printer. In other words, the Unwinder only feeds the printer when the printer is printing, and automatically stops when the printer stops.

A free-hanging “loop” of label stock is created between the printer and the Tensioning Roller of the ZCAT thereby eliminating all tension whatsoever on the printer. A special chassis-mounted photo-detector starts and stops the rewinding action based on the optimum depth of the loop. Fully adjustable tension exists between the Tensioning Roller and the Rewinder thus yielding a consistent and tightly wound finish roll.
The ZCAT-8 model supports a 12” max roll diameter and 8.5” wide media width. The ZCAT-10 model supports a 12” max roll diameter and 10.5” media width.

The DPR AD1211-S0 Label Rewinder can handle labels up to 4.72” (120mm), 5” (127mm) and 6.85” (174mm) wide and rewind rolls with a diameter up to 6.7” (170mm), 10” (250mm) and 11.81” (300mm) onto an adjustable core holder from 1.57” (76mm) up to 4.64” (118mm). The AD1211-S0 is equipped with an external auto-switching 100/240VAC – 2.5A at 24V power supply and an electronic circuit controls the functions. When the roll of labels runs out, the rewinder stops by uttering an acoustic signal. The ability to adjust the direction of rotation, clockwise or counterclockwise, allows to rewind the labels face in or face out.
The DPR AD1211-S0 Label Rewinder is constructed with powder coated metal leading to a long lifespan.

Tension Arm
The tension arm adjusts the speed of rotation. When the arm is down, the rewinder will rotate at full speed. Whereas, when the tension arm is up, the rewinder is idle, which blocks the motor’s rotation when the printer stops.
